In view of part of Swachhata Pakhwada – Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) 2023, a massive cleanliness drive ‘Ek Tareekh Ek Ghnata’ was held as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary on 2nd October, 2023.All the teaching, non-teaching staff and students of DMMC participated in the cleanliness drive (Shramadan) on 2nd October, 2023 from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. |

| Walkathon to address World Diabetes Day |

DMMC participated along with other Health Science College institutions of Wanadongri campur on 25thNovember 2023, for World Diabetes Day.A successful walkathon event was organized to raise awareness about diabetes and promote a healthy lifestyle. The event aimed to encourage physical activity, educate participants about diabetes prevention, and foster community engagement. Students had made posters to create awareness among the people on World Diabetes Day. |

| Rotary Club's Walkathon "Walk for Life 2023" |

The Rotary Club organized a highly successful Walkathon named "Walk for Life 2023" at the St. Ursula School Ground on Sunday, November 26, 2023. The event commenced at 6:30 am and witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 6,000 individuals from various walks of life. Notably, among the participants were the MBBS 1st Year Students of the 2023-24 batch, adding an essence of health awareness and community involvement.Upon completion of the walk, a compelling skit was performed by the MBBS 1st Year Students on the stage. The skit was intricately woven around the theme of organ donation, aiming to raise awareness and promote the noble cause of donating organs. The skit was followed by an impactful initiative where 26 individuals pledged to donate their organs. This significant step towards organ donation. |

An event of poster making was conducted at DMMC,Nagpur on the 2nd December on occasion of World AIDS Day. The Event took place at the amphitheatre of DMMC in which students participated and made their posters accordingly to spread awareness about AIDS. Posters included information about AIDS,risk factors and unnecessary myths that are being spread about the disease. |

- Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sangha’s, Nagpur College of Pharmacy organized Walkathon on WORLD AIDS DAY to promote awareness about AIDS for community on 23/12/2023 Saturday at 09.45 am
- DMMC college students, teaching and non-teaching staff participated along with other Health Science College institutions for this Walkathon.
- Students prepared many placards related to “WORLD AIDS DAY” for the awareness about AIDS in the society.
- Around 424 participants from D. Pharm, B. Pharm, MBBS, Nursing, BAMS, Physiotherapy and Allied Health Sciences participated in the walkathon with enthusiasm.

- The event was graced by Hon’ble Pro Chacncellor of DMIHER Dr. Ved Prakash Mishra Sir, Respected CEO of MGI, Director of SMHRC– Dr. Anup Marar Sir, Respected Dean Dr. Ujwal Gajbe madam, Respected Vice Dean Dr. B.R.Singh Sir, Respected HOIs of all Health Science College of Wana campus.
- Unfurling of the National flag by Medical Toppers Ms. Poojal Mapari (III year University topper) , Ms. Pragya Agrawal (I MBBS University topper).
- On this occasion, cultural events- poem, Patriotic Songs, Dance on Patriotic theme where organized and students participated from all 6 Health Science Colleges enthusiastically

- Datta Meghe Ayurved Medical College & Hospital, Nagpur Walkathon on National Girl Child Day & Herbal Drug Awareness on 27/01/2024 Saturday at 09.30 am to promote awareness about Herbal Drugs for community,as well Need and importance of Organ Donation
- The route for the event was fromDMMC Gate - Boys Hostel Gate-Main road- SMHRC Gate- MGS Road-DMMC.
- All the Teaching Faculties, Non-teaching staff along with students of BAMS, Physiotherapy, D.Pharm, B.Pharm, MBBS, Nursing ,and AlliedHealthSciences participated energetically in the Walkathon event. Studentshadprepared so many placards related Herbal Drug, National Girl Child day and Organ Donation. Around 500 participants participated in the walkathon with enthusiasm.
